Landy Hall will be missing a lot of teenagers next week... All Upper School students and faculty are about to embark on week-long service projects around the globe. Starting on Monday, March 4, 16 different Service Week groups will be serving, led by the talented Upper School faculty and staff. Life-changing trips to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, and the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, will also provide service. Shorecrest Upper School will provide over 4,000 hours of service over 4 days.
"I am so proud of what Shorecrest is about to do!" said an excited Diego Duran-Medina, Director of Service Learning at Shorecrest. "This week and next are about building, sometimes physical structures, sometimes partnerships-both will lead to life changing experiences for our students and community. Thank you to everyone that makes Service Week possible!"
