Grandparents & Special Friends Day is a beloved Shorecrest tradition, 36-years strong and counting. This year's event was held on Friday, January 24 and welcomed more than 600 visitors to campus!
A special thank you to Corrie Stover '90, our Grandparents & Special Friends Day Chair, Joan Forrest, Annual Giving Grandparent Chair, and Donna Gaffney, Grandparent Council Chair for their leadership and support of this special event. The Shorecrest students dazzled on the stage and proudly showed off their classrooms and introduced their teachers. The day would not have been possible without the help of Events Manager Debe Shenkman and Operations Director Dave Sharlow, as well as many others who worked behind the scenes to make the day a success.
Grandparents are an important part of the Shorecrest community and can get involved through the Grandparent Council. All are welcome!
