Varsity Girls Volleyball vs. Hollins:
Final score 3-0 Win!
MS Gold Volleyball vs. Out of Door Academy:
Final score 25-9, 25-14
The Chargers hosted Out of Door Academy this week and took home the first win of the season! Cheered on by fans in the Crisp Gym, the team took the court, ready and focused. They made tremendous individual improvements during our short season. Highlights of the game include incredible serving from Mila B '26, excellent passing by Lauren K '26 and setting by Ava G '27. Every player contributed to the Chargers' win!
JV Volleyball vs Out of Door Academy:
Final score 2-1 Win!
The Chargers had lost to ODA last week in two, but pulled out a 3-set thriller on September 30, winning 15-10 in the third. Great serving from Taylor Register '23, Bella Hursey '24, and Taylor Hicks '23 put the Chargers in position for success, while the offense was lead by Lillee Burkett '23 and Tori Alpert '23. Tori led the team in kills with 8.
Varsity Volleyball vs Out of Door Academy:
Final score 3-0 Win!
Offense was lead by Maria Happ '24, Jessie Rosenblum '22 and Brooke Waldmann '22. Defense was lead by Julia Craig '21, Kate Craig '24 and Kirsten Price '21.
The Varsity Volleyball Chargers are now 4-1 and have two home matches next week: ODA on Tuesday at 7pm and Seminole on Wednesday at 6:30pm. Playoffs will begin October 12.
