Members of Shorecrest's Upper School Outdoor Club enjoyed the cool weather during their first kayak trip this past Tuesday, November 3.
After school, the Chargers launched kayaks onto the canal from the Native Classroom along Shorecrest’s property. Students paddled through the green waters and admired the surrounding wildlife. The paddlers also admired the many bird species along the waterway. Julia Legakis ‘21 shared, “It’s refreshing to be out on the water, especially since this year has been so unpredictable.”
Under the guidance of Upper School Teacher Mr. Steele, the Outdoor Club continues to explore and appreciate our local environment.
