On Friday, November 13, the 2020 Homecoming Court was announced during an Upper School assembly. The Homecoming Court is selected by the senior class.
Congratulations to the following members of the Class of 2021:
Mr. Spirit Court - Rod Casteel, Kyle Corey, Tyler Del Zoppo, Anthony Vivio, Leddon Zwack
Homecoming Queen Court - Julia Craig, Nadya DeFreitas, Ella Holland, Samia Hossain, Georgia Ofenloch

On November 16-20 the Upper School celebrated Homecoming Week. All events were modified to meet our health and safety guidelines, and many were livestreamed to students while in advisory classrooms or at home for flexible learning. Monday - Wednesday were regular class days with the following judged dress-up themes:
Powder Puff Cheerleading Routines were presented by boys from each grade. You can find videos here:
Special thanks to the Broadcasting Club, Dean Session, the Upper School Student Council, the Health & Safety Task Force, and all of the Shorecrest staff who worked with them to be sure everyone could follow the day's events virtually when necessary.
Friday was Green and Gold Day. Shortened Upper School classes left time at the end of the day for a special assembly to announce Mr. Spirit, the Homecoming Queen, and the results of the Homecoming competition on Haskell Field.
Congratulations to the 2020 Mr. Spirit, Rod Casteel '21, and the 2020 Homecoming Queen, Samia Hossain '21! The Homecoming Queen and Mr. Spirit were chosen from the Court by the Upper School student body. Watch a recording of the assembly here.
