Varsity Track and Field Meet at Private School Championship

Upper School News


Varsity Track and Field Chargers competed at Berkeley Prep in the Private School Championship on March 19. Two Chargers set school records:
  • Sanoma Kasica '24 finished second place in the girls javelin and she set a school record of 30.14 meters previously held by Taylor Hicks '23.  
  • Jeremy Barton '23 finished 8th place in the boys javelin and set a school record of 34.61 meters previously held by Samuel Idinge '20.
Theo Simon '22 was first place in the boys 110m and 300m hurdles. The boys 4x100m relay finished second. In the boys high jump, Reid Harris '23 took 2nd place; and in the boys long jump Mikhail Whyte '22 placed 2nd. In the boys pole vault Michael Canizares '22 was third place. 

In the Girls 100m dash Devyn Kropf '22 was second place, and she was 4th in the 200m. Kaja Dionne '24 was 4th place in the girls 800m. The girls 4x100m relay was third place. The girls 4x800m relay team was 4th. Our girls pole vaulters saw Emerson Schreiner '23 in 2nd and Lauren Marquis '23 in 5th place.
