Varsity and JV Volleyball open the season

Varsity Volleyball vs. Largo: 25-27, 25-12, 25-19, 25-17.
The Chargers Varsity Volleyball team played solid in the home opener. Their serving and passing were on point in the second, third and fourth sets. Both Maria Happ '24 and Brooke Waldmann '22 were outstanding in their setting debut.
Maria Happ '24 had 22 kills, 16 assists, 3 blocks, 3 aces, 5 digs. Brooke Waldmann '22 had 11 kills, 27 assists, 8 digs, 3 aces. Kate Craig '24 had 19 digs, 3 aces.
JV Volleyball vs. Largo: 25-18, 15-25, 15-13.
The Chargers JV Volleyball team opened up strong to control set one, but made too many errors to win set two. The third set was a back and forth set, trading points evenly, until the Chargers finished with the win! Myla Tralins '25 and Paislee Maddox '25 each chipped in 6 aces, while Ava S. '26 led the team with 5 digs.
This was a very good Largo team, and our young student-athletes did a great job!
