SABRINA EVERHART ‘25 WINS MEMBEAN GO! PHOTO CONTEST

Students in Shorecrest Upper School’s ninth grade Honors English course, taught by Ms. Elouej, recently participated in the 2022 Membean Go! Contest. The contest, meant to encourage students to keep learning no matter where they are, was sponsored by the Membean vocabulary-building program.
Competing against all other schools that use the program, and considering audience, purpose, and tone while staging a compelling photo, the Chargers produced photographs that depicted their Membean training while not in school. Their best images were collected, and the top eight were forwarded on to Membean’s contest judges.
Sabrina Everhart ’25 won one of the top prizes for her photograph, “Repertoire.” She will receive an Amazon gift card to be used for items for the classroom.
