Varsity volleyball vs. Indian Rocks Christian: Win 3-1 (13-25, 25-12, 25-16, 25-19)
Lillee Burkett '23 had 10 kills & 9 digs, Maria Happ '24 had 20 kills and .567 hitting %, Brynn F '27 with 34 assists & 3 aces, Kate Craig '24 had 18 digs & 5 aces.
JV volleyball vs. Indian Rocks Christian: Win 25-18, 15-25, 15-10
For the second night in a row the JV team pulled out a 3 set thriller to start the season!
MS Green volleyball vs. Indian Rocks Christian: Win 25-13 / 15-25 / 15-8
MS Green Volleyball vs. St. Pete Christian: Loss 20-25 / 14-25
MS Green Volleyball vs. Northside Christian: Loss 19-25 / 12-25
JV Volleyball vs. Seminole: Win 2-1 (17-25, 25-15, 15-13)
Ava G '27 had 4 aces, Ava Stanton '26 had 7 kills, Taylor Brown '25 & Morgan H '27 had 4 kills each. Paislee Maddox '25 chipped in 8 assists.
Varsity Volleyball vs. Seminole High: Win 3-1 (20-25, 25-12, 25-18, 25-16)
The Chargers were 3-0 before Wednesday. "I'm proud of the fight that these girls have," shared Coach Draper. Brynn F '27 with 25 assists, Kate Craig '24 with 7 aces & 14 digs, Tori Alpert '23 with 4 aces & 8 digs, Maria Happ '24 with 13 kills & 9 blocks.
MS Gold Volleyball vs. St. Pete Christian: Win (25-15, 25-20)
The Gold Team opened their season with a win over St. Pete Christian this week. In the first set, Rhys W '28 led the team on the court with setting and hits over the net. The highlight of the first set was serving by Sada G '28 who had 10 consecutive serves over the net! Victoria A '28 and Isabella W '29 made their Shorecrest debuts with teamwork and hustle. Emma B '28 was the teammate everyone could count on to go after the ball. This led the Chargers to a win, 25-15.
In the second set, newcomer Riley J '28 served the first five points of the game. Sixth graders Lucy H '29 and Grace W '29 took the court for their first time and immediately made passing contributions. Serving by Sofia C '28 and Natalia D '28 was on point. The St. Pete Christian Crusaders were a talented team who fought hard to stay in the game. In the end, the Chargers won the second set 25-20. Congratulation to the team on our first win of the season!

Myla Tralins '25 was a game highlight with 6 aces.

Standouts included Bella Hursey '24 and Christina Satterfield '25 with 7 kills each, and Brynn F '27 with 16 assists and 4 aces.

This win brought the Chargers to a 5-0 record! Standout players included Maria Happ '24 had 20 kills, 13 digs & 7 aces, Kate Craig '24 had 16 digs, and Brynn F '27 had 34 assists and 5 kills.
JV Volleyball vs. Northside Christian School: Win 2-0
Morgan H '27 led the team with 7 kills, Sadie Wilson '26 with 5 digs and Gia Bessolo '26 with 11 assists. Chargers are 5-0! Great start to the season!
MS Gold Volleyball vs. Northside Christian: Win (25-6, 25-11)
The Chargers dominated Northside Christian on Thursday. It might have been pouring down rain outside, but the Chargers were on fire inside the Crisp Gym! The highlight of the first set was Rhys W '28 who served 18 consecutive balls over the net. She's unstoppable! The Chargers easily won the first set 25-6. The second set was all about three-touch passing. Grace W '29, Emma B '28 and Lucy H '29 worked together to put passing combinations together. Once Sada G '28 stepped up to serve, our opponent couldn't fight back. Sada G '28 served 10 consecutive balls! The second set went in our favor, 25-11.
