Alumna Kelly Holder Venuti '91 Shares Mental Health Tips

Upper School News

To support conversations surrounding Mental Health Awareness Month in Upper School, Kelly Holder Venuti '91, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Sandy McGlothlin, Registered Dietician Nutritionist, from Concierge Holistic Wellness in St. Petersburg, spoke with students in a special assembly.

Kelly and Sandy both focus on an integrative approach to care when working with clients. They shared practical, preventative tools Chargers can utilize to improve overall wellness and resilience. They reviewed their Six Pillars of Resiliency: Mindfulness Practices, Physical Activity, Mental Health Care, Balanced Nutrition, Supportive Relationships and Quality Sleep.

After graduating from Shorecrest, Kelly attended University of Central Florida where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Barry University. Kelly is now a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 20 years of specialized training in Integrative Medicine, Energy Testing, Homeopathy, Clinical Hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Brain Health. She is CEO and Founder of Concierge Holistic Wellness.
