TLC Occupational Therapy: How We Help, March 1

Upper School News


Pediatric occupational therapist Eric Graffeo will present on Wednesday, March 1, at 8:30am in the Ohana Community Room (2nd floor of Charger Commons.)

In this session geared towards ES and LS parents/guardians participants will:

  • Learn more about occupational therapy and how OTs support children and families
  • Learn more about our particular focus at Shorecrest
  • Learn how we partner with students, teachers and families through The Learning Center
  • Have the opportunity for questions and discussion

Event parking will be open. Please follow the signs and directions of maintenance greeters in carline.

About M. Eric Graffeo, MOT, OTR/L:

Eric has been part of the Shorecrest TLC Community for over 15 years. He and his team are connected with the School's mission and culture, and understand the unique needs of Shorecrest students.

Eric is a pediatric occupational therapist and owner of I.T.S. for Kids, a pediatric therapy center providing occupational, speech and physical therapy. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The University of South Dakota in 1995 and a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1999. 

Along with multiple specialty certifications, Eric has pursued and completed extensive pediatric training, particularly in the area of sensory processing and sensory integrative therapy. Eric regularly presents to community organizations and schools on the topic of Sensory Processing Function and Dysfunction and how this impacts children and their families.

Eric is also a husband, father of 3, and enjoys boating and fishing all around the bay area.
