Twenty-three Jr. Thespians from Shorecrest Middle School attended the Florida District 11 Jr. Thespian Festival last weekend with 16 Acts. They returned with the following awards:
  • 2 Honorable Mentions for Brooke W. for her solo and Cían M. for his monologue
  • 10 Superior awards in total for Brie A., Sofia A., Jeremy B., Cal B., Oliver H., Ellie L., Cían M., Ava M., Stella P., Brooke W.
  • 5 Excellent awards for Claire B., Brenna D., Summer F., Kelly G., Morgan H., Iona H., Ellie L., Shannon R., and Grace S. 
You can watch their acts at the MS Variety Show on December 2, 7pm in the Janet Root Theatre.

The troupe also raised $290 for Broadway Cares during the Festival with the help of US Thespian students Jonathan D., Reilly O., Anna P, and Shannon W. - who ran a collection table and Autograph Wall.
