Eighth graders are learning Music Engineering in the computer lab. Students have discovered the importance of timing and accuracy to create their own melody and printable score.

They added rhythm sections, intros, and volume automations before recording their own vocal track from selected Shakespearean text. This week they continue learning how to do vocal riding, equalize (EQ), and final master compression with the goal of achieving better overall sound quality, including with their own voices.
