Varsity Golf District Tournament

Shorecrest had the pleasure of hosting the District 14 high school golf tournament at our home course of St. Petersburg County Club. Both our boys and girls played well, finishing in second place and earning a spot in next week's Regional Tournament at East Lake Woodlands. The top three team and individuals from each district will meet at the Regional Tournament.
Our boys were led by seniors Karim O. 75 and Kyle M. 76. Junior Greyson P. contributed with a 79 and Chris P. rounded out our top four scores shooting 82. Our score this tournament was good enough to take second place and continue our run into the post season.
The Charger girls played well with several golfers nearing season best scores. Our girls were led by eighth grader Meredith K. 92. Adrianna L. birdied her final hole to shoot 93. Shelby T. shot a very solid score of 96 and Sabrina M. battled through to help secure second place and birth into the Regional Tournament next week.
We are very proud of our golfers and know that our season is far from over!
