Varsity Bowling Scores and Senior Night

Athletics

On October 13, the varsity bowlers were opposite St Pete Catholic. The boys dropped a tough 3-2 match. Scott M. (168), Hunter H. (160), Jarod N. (137, 149), and Maverick M. (137) bowled well. SPC only had three girls, so they practiced. Marine B. (151, 139), Katie J. (143, 128), Riley L. (135), and Karli M. (127) all rolled games at least 20 pins over their average.

On October 14, the boys rallied from two games down to beat Indian Rocks Christian 3 games to 2. Scott M. led the way with games of 175, 200, and 178. He also anchored the team in their two Baker game wins, with a spare and eight pins in the 10th frame of their 132-130 win in the first Baker game. They won the second Baker game 169-139. Mac G. threw a 170 in game 3. The girls dropped three straight. Karli M. rolled a 158 and Marine B. a 142.

Later that night, the team celebrated the senior members with words of wisdom for the underclassmen, memories of previous bowling years and delicious cookie cake! Thank you to the parent volunteers, faculty visitors, Coach Densa and Coach Raab for making the night extra special!
