SWIM & DIVE SCORE WELL IN MULTIPLE MEETS

The Middle School Chargers Swim team had a great start to their meet season with a girls and boys win at the Middle School Relay Meet hosted by Berkeley Prep.
The girls team had five first place finishes staffed with the following: 200 Medley (Stella P., Ainsley B., Claire E., Mariyah S.); 200 Breast (Mariyah S., Claire B., Ainsley B., Sofia A.); 200 Back (Devyn K., Stella P., Genesis B., Rose L.); 200 Fly (Claire E. , Gabi H., Rose L., Ellie L.); and 200 Free (Brooke W., Ellie L., Devyn K., Gabi H.).
The boys had two first place finishes and the relays were staffed as follows: 200 Medley (Duncan W., Oliver H., Evan H., Zachary H.) and 200 Free (Jeremy B., Will E., Carson C., Max W.) Congratulations to our very fast Middle School squad!

The Varsity Swim & Dive team had their relay meet with diving on Friday and swimming on Saturday. Out of 21 teams, the Shorecrest girls were 4th and the Shorecrest boys were 6th with a combined overall of 5th place.
The girls dive team of Sophie E. and Lauren B. had the highest finish of all of the relays with a 2nd place overall. Congratulations to the entire team on this great finish!

The varsity team was back in action this past Wednesday against Northeast and Osceola. Chargers Girls and Boys teams were dominant against Northeast with the relays taking first in all three. The relays were handled by the following: 200 Medley (Misha M., Pablo C., Caleb K., Joseph B.); 200 Free (Jack L., Max K., Misha M., Jake A.) and the 400 Free (Caleb K., Pablo C., Jake A., Joseph B.). Winning 2 events each were Joseph B. (200 & 500 Free), Caleb K. (200 IM, 100 Fly), Jake A. (50 & 100 Free) and winning one event each were Dominic H. (diving), Misha M. (100 Back) and Pablo C. (100 Breast).
On the girls side against Northeast, the girls 200 Medley Relay and 400 Free Relay (Clara W., Courtney C., Taylor E., Hannah B.) took first place. Winning two events each were: Courtney C. (200 Free, 100 Breast), Taylor E. (200 IM, 100 Fly), Hannah B. (50 & 100 Free) and winning one event each were Sophie E. (Diving), Reagan Q. (500 Free) and Clara W. (100 Back).
On the girls side against Northeast, the girls 200 Medley Relay and 400 Free Relay (Clara W., Courtney C., Taylor E., Hannah B.) took first place. Winning two events each were: Courtney C. (200 Free, 100 Breast), Taylor E. (200 IM, 100 Fly), Hannah B. (50 & 100 Free) and winning one event each were Sophie E. (Diving), Reagan Q. (500 Free) and Clara W. (100 Back).
The boys had a tough meet against Osceola but were able to win Diving, 100 Fly, 200 Free Relay, 100 Back and the 100 Breast. The girls did very well with wins in the 200 Medley Relay, 200 IM, 50 Free, Diving, 100 Fly, 100 Free, 100 Back, 100 Breast and 400 Free Relays. Great job Chargers!
The Middle School is back in action with a meet at Berkeley on Thursday and Monday (at home) and the Varsity swims St. Pete and Seminole on Wednesday at home.
