The Chargers sailors have been working tirelessly during the off-season in preparation of the 2018-19 school year.
- Elizabeth Shanahan '19 and Heather Kerns '20 both sailed at the US Sailing Youth Championship in Wrightsville Beach, NC, in the end of June.
- Elizabeth S, Heather K, Ethan Danielson '22 and Guthrie Braun '22 traveled to Houston for the US Singlehanded Laser Championships on June 29-July 3. Guthrie was the National Champion in the Laser 4.7 class and Ethan finished 2!
- Guthrie B and Ethan D traveled to Gdynia, Poland, from July 9-17 and sailed in the Laser 4.7 Youth World Championships.
- Heather K traveled to California from July 12-15 for Laser North American Championship.
- Heidi Hicks '21, Heather K and Elizabeth S sailed in the US Junior Women’s Singlehanded Championship from July 17-22 in Stamford, CT. Very nice showing by Shorecrest: Elizabeth won, Heather was 6 & Heidi was 13. https://www.ussailing.org/

- Elizabeth traveled to Kiel, Germany, from August 18-25 for the Laser Radial Youth World Championships.
Now the Chargers have turned their attention to the upcoming High School Season!
