MS SWIM CONCLUDES SEASON WITH CHAMPIONSHIP

Shorecrest Swim & Dive Middle School team traveled to Tampa Prep this past Saturday to compete at the Middle School Championship Meet. With only four boys and four girls competing, the Chargers were able to finish 5th overall out of 9 teams and took home some hardware too!
Finishing on the podium were: Gregory F. (1st-100 Free, 2nd – 50 Fly), Nicolas H. (3rd – 100 IM), Kate R. (3rd – 200 Free, 2nd – 50 Back), William B. (2nd – 200 Free, 3rd – 50 Back).
The boys 200 Free Relay (William B., Jake D., Nicolas H. and Gregory F.) took 2nd place and the 400 Free Relay with the same members finished in 3rd place.
Every swimmer dropped time in at least one event and ended the season on a high note. Congratulations to the Chargers on a job well done!
