Kind Mouse Food Drive

Service News

Thank you to all in the Shorecrest family for your overwhelming generosity in donating items for the Fall Food Drive. Under the guidance of The Kind Mouse founder Gina Wilkins and direction of Pack-A-Sack veteran, senior Sarah M, we packed 104 bags on Wednesday, November 19. We already have supplies for another 200-300 bags and plan to hold another packing day in early December.

We learned from Ms.Wilkins that they provide a double bag for the holiday breaks to the area elementary school children who live in food-insecure homes. Although the Fall Food Drive ends on Friday, Nov. 21, we will accept any late arriving items through December 1.

Items we can use more of include: shelf-stable single-serving milk cartons, canned chicken vienna sausages, and pop-top single-serving cans of pasta with meat (pictured).

Thank you for supporting the Shorecrest Fall Food Drive. We share our heartfelt gratitude with you for your generosity and wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving break.
