All About Kenya

Second graders are learning about other countries and cultures from many guest experts. On Tuesday, students learned all about Kenya from Mrs. Pennock who was born and lived in Kenya. She told them about the daily lives of Kenyan children, including what school is like, what children do at recess and for sports, and what people do for jobs. She brought lots of artifacts from Kenya. It was so interesting to see the difference between city life and the more rural life outside of Nairobi, the capital city. What a beautiful country!
