First Grade Readers Play Cover the Word

All three first grades joined together and celebrated the good habits they've gained as readers. They played a game called Cover the Word. The activity included covering tricky words with sticky notes and having partners figure out what the word was. Strategies for working in small groups were reviewed and encouraged.
