Chargers 15, Evangelical Christian 6
The Chargers rolled to a 3rd consecutive victory and a 3-0 record with 15-6 victory over Evangelical Christian from Ft. Myers. The team relied on a strong running game, a solid kicking game and a stingy, swarming defense. Drew Z had 16 carries for 105 yards, a rushing touchdown, kicked 2 Field Goals (one a 40 yarder), and had 8 solo tackles & 2 assists to lead the Charger defense to the home victory, and an undefeated record.
The entire Charger defense played well not allowing Evangelical to score on them! Defensive standout, Alex A., got his 3rd Quarterback Sack on the season and now leads the Sunshine State Athletic Conference in Quarterback Sacks.

Getting to 3-0 is a great feeling considering the challenges the team faces (young roster and low numbers.) "I’m convinced that our conditioning has really improved, and is something that will serve us well late in games going forward. Every week I see awesome improvements that will serve us well as we get deeper into the season." said Coach Dudley.
The team's focus now is to get a 4th victory Friday night vs. Bell Creek in front of a resounding Homecoming crowd! Getting to 4-0 would really reward these boys who continue to grind & get better every day. Come cheer on your Chargers!
