Eighth Grader Teaches Third Grade Spanish

This week, third grade Spanish class had a special activity. Shorecrest eighth grader, Shaherzad C., prepared a lesson in Spanish for the third graders as a project for her Spanish class. The younger students had so much fun and practiced their vocabulary about La Comunidad (The Community). They played Around the World - Shaherzad started with words in Spanish and the children had to say them in English; then she said them in English and the third graders had to say them in Spanish. At the end they had to translate sentences from English into Spanish. It was a great way for everyone to practice speaking and understanding Spanish!
