Chickens Visit Kindergarten

Ashley and Erick, Shorecrest parents and Founders of the Sustainable Family Farm, came to talk to kindergarten as guest experts last week. Not only did they teach kindergarteners about the different things chickens need, they brought two very exciting guests as well - two hens from their farm! Kindergarteners were excited to meet and pet these two full-grown hens while observing the differences between them and the tiny, 3-week old chicks that have recently hatched in kindergarten.
We learned a lot! Thank you so much for coming to kindergarten!
