Stacy Alexander - US Assistant Dean of Student Life
After spring break, Ms. Stacy Alexander started her new position as Assistant Dean of Student Life in the Upper School. In her prior role as the Director of Alumni and Community Engagement, Stacy built strong relationships with alumni, managed schoolwide events and special projects, as well as served the Upper School as an advisor and senior class sponsor. In addition to her new role in the Student Life department, Stacy will continue to serve as senior class sponsor, senior advisor, and co-teacher of a social studies elective course.

Stacy Alexander graduated with a B.A. in Sociology and Mass Communications from the University of Florida and a M.A. in Higher Education from the University of Louisville. Prior to joining Shorecrest, Stacy served as the Assistant Vice President for Community Relations and Communications for Mote Marine Laboratory located in Sarasota. She is a recent graduate of the Leadership St. Pete program through the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. In addition to her work with Shorecrest Alumni, Stacy serves as sponsor of the Ambassador Program and the Guardian ad Litem Club. Stacy grew up in Palm Harbor and St. Petersburg.
Mark Brown - Associate Director of Enrollment Management, US History Teacher
Mark Brown joined Shorecrest in 2018 from the Bolles School to teach Upper School Social Studies to our. He began as Associate Director of Enrollment Management in 2022, while continuing to teach an Upper School history course and assisting our track and field coaching staff.
Mr. Brown received his Master of Arts degree focused on Teaching, Leadership, and Cultural Competence from the University of Iowa, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Florida State University, where he also competed on the FSU track and field team. His wife is a nurse practitioner at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, and they have three young children.

Paul Miller '05 - MS English Teacher
Paul Miller '05 joined the Middle School in 2020 as a floating faculty member and is currently a Middle School English Teacher. He is a Class of 2005 alumnus of Shorecrest and received a B.A. in History and Political Science from Guilford College. He has been teaching for 10 years, mainly English as a Second Language, with 8 of those years spent in China teaching at lower, middle, and high school levels in international schools and private language centers.
Paul enjoys golfing in his free time and brings his passion for the game to the Shorecrest community by being co-coach of the boys and girls varsity golf teams.
