Relocating our family across the continent to a new country was quite the undertaking. We have been welcomed into the Shorecrest community in so many ways, which has been a highlight of our first few months living in Florida.
Having spent many years in fundraising, from large scale events to corporate partnerships at Ronald McDonald House Charities®, I can honestly say that I wholeheartedly love my work. Having an opportunity to form connections and build relationships as a way to garner awareness and support to the organizations I support is deeply meaningful.
My role at Shorecrest is to develop and strengthen our Community Sponsors program. Finding ways of integrating a brand or company within the framework of their corporate social responsibility goals, and then applying those concepts to a mutually beneficial partnership, is so rewarding!
Turning commerce into community is an incredibly impactful way to give back and I invite you to consider joining us. An investment in the shared belief of the power of education is altruistic in nature and truly helps to shape our future leaders -– and it is a fantastic way to show your own network that you’re community-minded.
