Spotlight on Wyatt Krapf ‘09

Shorecrest Alumnus Wyatt Krapf ‘09 recently received two distinguished awards. He was recognized as one of “40 Under 40” by Tampa Bay Business Journal and received the Deanne Dewey Roberts Emerging Leader Award from the Tampa Bay Chamber for his service and dedication to the Tampa Bay community and the young professional organization.

Wyatt graduated from the University of Miami where he earned both master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering. 

As Senior Vice President of Hodges Ward Elliott he focuses on the origination and execution of institutional capital markets and investment sale advisory for hotels and resorts throughout the southeast United States. Over the past 8 years Wyatt has worked in all major areas of real estate capital markets advisory with a passion for hotel investments. He has successfully completed $2.0 billion of hotel transactions, and has participated in the execution of over $4.0 billion across all asset classes.  

Wyatt also holds several volunteer leadership positions including 2023 President of the Society of Real Estate Professionals (SOREP), 2020-22 Chair of Collegiate Leadership Tampa Bay through the Tampa Bay Chamber and he is a founding Board Member of the Tampa Foundation.

Along with his professional achievements, Wyatt had an exciting year personally. He and Sarah (Reynolds) Krapf were married on Clearwater Beach.
