Shorecrest School

Student Ambassador Program Launching

Upper School News

Shorecrest is launching an exciting new program that will train and equip Upper School students to become Shorecrest Student Ambassadors!

A Student Ambassador serves as the first point of contact for prospective families and students and guests visiting Shorecrest for the first time. Ambassadors will welcome visitors to the school, give tours, and serve as student coordinators for school functions. Ambassadors may also have the opportunity to work with the Advancement Office to help Shorecrest become more connected to its local community and its global community of alumni. This is an exciting opportunity for students to serve their community as well as to enhance their own profiles for college.

Student ambassadors will receive training in public speaking, rhetoric and communication, which will improve their presentation skills and their confidence inside and outside of the classroom. If this sounds interesting, contact Mrs. Craft soon, as our training retreat will occur on Sunday, November 2nd in the SAC from 10am-2pm.
