On February 9, Upper School Art Teacher Charla Gaglio gave a presentation to docents and administrators at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. Entitled, "In Search of the Real; Experiencing Art in the Digital Age," Mrs. G's talk acknowledged the many benefits that teaching with technology offers, while also emphasizing the importance of art education and the teaching of art with original works.
In addition, the presentation showcased paintings, photographs and drawings produced by Shorecrest students, as well as student interviews on the importance of the arts.
