Students performed a variety of songs including one without words! "Kumbalawé", a Cirque du Soleil number, was written in what is known as Grammelot, a gibberish language that goes back to the 16th century. Their next song, "Into The Open Air" from the animated film Brave, was a challenge to learn as it is written in 5 varying time signatures. The students had great fun learning and performing a funky version of "It's The Hard-Knock Life" in honor of the 2014 release of the film Annie. Following on was "Sing" from the Diamond Jubilee Celebration for Queen Elizabeth II. For their finale, the students sang the choral arrangement of "When You Believe" from the animated film The Prince of Egypt which includes Hebrew lyrics and concluded with four-part harmony.
