Middle School Golf 1st Place Team Score of 140

The Charger Middle School golf team began their season with a bang! Shorecrest won with a team score of 140 and earned 4 points towards the season long point race.
The golfers played fantastically on the freshly aerified greens at Cypress Links, making putting very challenging and beating stiff competition form LCC, St. Raphael's and St. Pete Christian. Our Chargers were led by seventh grader Bill B. shooting a 32. The remaining top four scores came from Drew B. 35 in his first ever MS golf match, Jake D. 36 and a three-way tie 37, that was recorded by Isabella D., Patrick D. and Kyle C.
All nine of our golfers were within 8 shots total of each other, demonstrating the excellent depth we have on our MS golf team.
