Halloween is considered a fun time for many people and children. Safety should always take priority. Here are some reminders:
Children are to be escorted by an adult at all times.
Be mindful of the choice of costumes that you and your child wear.
Wear comfortable shoes and sweater/jacket if weather requires.
Skip houses that are not properly lit.
Stay in your neighborhood.
Have children back home early depending on their age to get ready for school.
Limit the amount of sweets consumed that night and consider donating the remaining treats to different organizations.
Until next time, have a safe Halloween!
