Health & Guidance

Halloween is considered a fun time for many people and children. Safety should always take priority. Here are some reminders:
  • Children are to be escorted by an adult at all times.
  • Be mindful of the choice of costumes that you and your child wear.
  • Be mindful that some children may have food allergies. Consider the choice of non-food treats such as bookmarks, stickers or bubbles. http://www.foodallergy.org/teal-pumpkin-project/about.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and sweater/jacket if weather requires.
  • Skip houses that are not properly lit.
  • Stay in your neighborhood.
  • Have children back home early depending on their age to get ready for school.
  • Limit the amount of sweets consumed that night and consider donating the remaining treats to different organizations.
Until next time, have a safe Halloween!
