The Chargers hosted Northside Christian in a mercy-rule 8-0 ending victory. From the start of the game, the girls were communicating, having a great first touch on the ball and maintaining control of the game. Olivia T. scored the first goal two minutes into the game and Alexis M. did the same, six minutes later.
Still working as a team, Maeve D. put the ball into the net off an assist from Maddie D. The Charger's domination couldn't be stopped and Jada rounded out the goal count at four. A handball inside the 18 yard box led to a penalty shot goal by Olivia T. After half time, Olivia D. placed the ball into the net five minutes into the second half. Olivia T. scored a hat trick goal and Alexis M. scored the mercy rule game ending goal. The shutout victory goes to Ashli M. in goal. The defense was solid and included Brooke W., Lucy H., Isabella D., Annie G. and Taylor R.
