First Grade to Glazer Children's Museum

First graders traveled to the Glazer Children's Museum to enhance their study on weather. The young scientists explored the museum and even made it rain! The students also experienced a lab and were able to play a giant, interactive weather memory matching game.

A highlight was being able to Skype with meteorologist Juli Marquez from Bay New 9. The students were able to ask her questions about weather patterns, clouds, her job and so much more! A couple of the student's questions included "What is snow made of?" "How does a tornado get its shape?" and "Why is weather different in different parts of the world?"

 It was a day full of fun learning!
