Please drop the uniforms off in the Experiential School office, the Lower School office or the Middle School office. Please contact Merilee Abinales at [email protected] if you would like to volunteer on set-up day, November 7th at 12:30pm or during the sale.

Poetry in the Park
The event for Alpha through fourth grade will be held in the Faculty Garden, which is across from the Janet Root Theatre, unless it rains. We have scheduled thirty minutes in between sessions for parking purposes. At the end of each share visitors will need to depart in order to make room for parents/guardians coming to the next show unless they are staying to watch their other children or child perform.  (We recommend that siblings are not taken out of class.) Uber/ride sharing may also work well for you. The estimated start and stop times for our shares are:
  • 8:30 - 9:15 Alpha and JK
  • 9:45- 10:30 Kindergarten and first grade
  • 11:00-11:45 Second through fourth grade
* If it rains Poetry in the Park will be inside the JRT.

School Closed Child Care
Plan ahead for post-Fall Festival and Conference Day child care. ES and LS are not in session after 12pm on October 26, or all day on November 8, but child care for the half or full day is available by advance reservation. You must register a week in advance to reserve a space. (NOTE: This is not the same as after care, because there is no school.) Click here, to sign up https://shorecrest.campbrainregistration.com/
You can access the school closed calendar here to take note of other days this service is available: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1J67N--JBxRxx5QNjdUR007_DB99pYkIFVCTmTT9NGcI/edit

Digital Citizenship Week is coming
Visit Katy Deegan’s blog next week on PowerSchool to see all the activities students will be engaged in (Ms. Deegan is the Lower School Educational Technologist). The goal of Digital Citizenship Week is to teach and discuss safety and responsible use with reinforcement in the classrooms and around school. With digital citizenship in mind, I would like to recommend the book, “The Big Disconnect: Protecting Childhood and Family Relationships in the Digital Age.”
