Please welcome the newest member of our Advancement Team, Stacy Alexander, Director of Alumni and Community Engagement.
Stacy Alexander grew up in Palm Harbor and St. Petersburg, Florida. Ms. Alexander received her undergraduate degree in 2000 from the University of Florida (Sociology and Mass Communication) and her Master of Arts degree (Higher Education) in 2007 from the University of Louisville.
Ms. Alexander joins us from Mote Marine Laboratory where she served as Assistant Vice President for Community Relations and Communications. In that position she was responsible for the Lab’s community relations activities, its collaborative marketing and public relations campaigns, and the organization's membership program. She is a graduate of the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Class of 2012, and a recent graduate of the Gulf Coast Leadership Institute program. Stacy is especially passionate about building relationships through alumni programs having started Mote's Intern Alumni Program and serving as President of the Sarasota County Gator Club (part of the University of Florida's Alumni Association).
Stacy looks forward to being back in St. Petersburg and meeting and engaging with Shorcrest Alumni!
