The Boys Varsity Soccer team is currently 11-0, including wins vs. Boca Ciega, Carrollwood Day School and Sickles in the Inaugural season of the 15-team Tampa Bay Area Champions League.
In an incredible game on January 17, your Chargers tied Jesuit in regulation play and defeated them 7-6 in the 10th round of penalty kicks! The Athletics Department believes this was the first time the Chargers have beat Jesuit. (The Tigers are currently ranked 26th in the Nation and 5th in the State regardless of Classification.)
This win advanced the Chargers to the Champions League finals, where they will be playing another undefeated team in East Lake HS. This will be a rematch of a pre-season 2-2 tie at the end of their game earlier this season. Come out to support your Chargers!
