What Color Did You Pick?

Over the last week, Lower School students gathered together during their art classes to help the Shorecrest Annual Fund team with a special project: coloring in the progress of our community’s fundraising efforts so far for Shorecrest! Each student carefully selected a colored marker then approached the massive 5’ x 3’ Color Their World board to make their mark.
In the same way, our community has been called over the last several months to ‘pick a color’ that speaks to them--leaving their mark on Shorecrest this year. Though 65% of Shorecrest families have already made their mark through their gift of support, there are still areas of this year’s canvas left blank.
Every gift makes an impact, adding vibrant color to the experience of all Shorecrest students.
We cannot achieve our goal without the help of our entire community. Whether it is a gift of $10 or $10,000, your participation matters and provides essential support for the people and programs that all students enjoy each year. The Shorecrest Annual Fund provides the ‘extra’ to their education: a beautiful campus with well-equipped classrooms that are filled with teachers who continually hone their craft to offer classes or programs that bring the most current technology and teaching methodologies to the curriculum, best preparing them for an ever-changing world.
Higher community participation also increases the likelihood for Shorecrest to receive additional financial support through local and federal grants. The commitment of a few dollars from a handful of families could mean substantial support from a foundation or organization for Shorecrest.
