Middle School Football vs Cambridge Christian

The MS Football Chargers played an away game in Tampa against a tough Cambridge Christian team. They are ranked as the best middle school football team in Tampa Bay - and the Chargers lost to them by only 3 points. The game could have gone either way, but the Chargers didn't get the breaks they needed at the end.
Tre M. scored 2 long touchdown runs. Trey W. had a 43-yard run for a touchdown. Jake W. had multiple pass receptions, including a 31-yard reception that set up our first touchdown.
Jackson H., Trey W., Art M., Jake W., Cyrus A., Cody B. and Nick M. led the Chargers on defense. The defense played a great game, including holding Cambridge Christian scoreless in the entire 2nd half.
The MS Football Chargers are now 3-1 on the season, with 162 points scored and 23 points scored against.
"We were all disappointed with the loss, but it was against a great opponent. We are looking forward to a strong finish to the season!" said Coach Wright.
