Flights of Fancy, a Solo Art Exhibition

St. Pete First Art Collective will host "Flights of Fancy," a solo art exhibition by Charla Y. Gaglio. The opening reception will be at ArtWalk on Saturday, February 8, 5-8pm in the Gilbert Chapel Gallery of Historic St. Pete First United Methodist Church.
Charla has participated in many shows throughout the Tampa Bay area. In addition to her fine art creations, she is the Chair of Visual Arts and instructor in Arts & Humanities in the Upper School of Shorecrest Preparatory School in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Her paintings are vivid and bright, others are serene and heavenly. The images are her attempt to capture and make meaning of moments; memories and dreams rendered in oils and made visible. Eyes and the concept of sight – both inner and exterior vision – play significant roles in her paintings.
The exhibition will run through February 23, on Sunday 8am - 1pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 4 - 8pm.
