Shorecrest's Upper School Environmental Club had plans for celebrating and promoting Earth Day that needed to shift when the campus closed for quarantine.
Environmental Club President Julia Marquis '21 and Vice President Brenna Dukes '21 started a social media campaign to help Chargers and others find new ways to be kind to the plant during Earth Week and beyond. They specifically focused on ways to be environmentally conscious while in quarantine. After posting tips and ideas for a few weeks, they shared during a virtual Upper School community meeting about the importance of Earth Day and taking action.
