Class of 2021 National Merit Semifinalists

Shorecrest seniors Jonathan Currie, Hailey Levitz, Matthew Lovelace and Leddon Zwack have been named Semifinalists in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Competition. All 4 students were recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation for the exceptional scores on the 2019 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).
Over 1.5 million juniors in about 21,000 high schools entered the National Merit Scholarship Program. The nationwide pool of approximately 16,000 Semifinalists represents less than one percent of high school seniors and includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state.
Students will be notified in February whether they advance to the Finalist level. All National Merit Scholarship winners will be selected from this group of Finalists.
Shorecrest Semifinalists will be honored in front of their peers at the Upper School assembly on Monday, September 14.
