Capturing Physics in the Real World

Shorecrest Upper School students in AP Physics C worked on a unit regarding kinematics. Similar to the sixth grade lesson of marble launching shared last week, their study included motion, velocity, acceleration, and other related concepts.
Mrs. Gende's students recorded and analyzed their own videos for their lab on projectile motion. Some of the unexpected characteristics of projectile motion are best caught on video, and project-based learning such as this, whereby students portray classroom concepts as real-world activities, helps solidify concepts.
