Class of 2021 National Merit Commended Students

Shorecrest seniors Summer Ford '21, Zachary Hahn '21 and Sam Herlihy '21 have been named Commended Students by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. They were recognized for exceptional scores on the 2019 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).
Commended Students place among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2021 National Merit Scholarship competition, scoring in the top 3% nationwide.
Summer, Zachary and Sam join classmates Jonathan Currie, Hailey Levitz, Matthew Lovelace and Leddon Zwack, the four of whom were named National Merit Semifinalists, to bring the total of Shorecrest students recognized by the National Merit program to 7.
