Campers rising into grades 1-4 can come experience Camp NOLA with LS Music Teacher Miss Marilyn this summer! Jazz, dancing, and Mardi Gras - OH MY!
Learn about the history of New Orleans for a week with someone who spent four and a half years living there. You will learn about New Orleanian landmarks, hear jazz music, design your own shotgun house, sing Louisiana's state song, go on a virtual tour of the city, and learn expressions and words used in Louisiana. At the end of the week we'll celebrate with our own Mardi-Gras-style celebration with masks, beads, and treats. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
