Travel with Chargers to Italy and Greece, July 2023

Upper School News

Shorecrest students in grades 8-12 are invited to join Ron Heller, US History Teacher, on an exciting 2 week trip to Italy and Greece in early July 2023. Learn more about the trip, including itinerary details, activities, academic opportunities, costs, early bird discounts and EF’s risk-free enrollment period by contacting Ron Heller, [email protected].

Mr. Heller has been leading guided trips for students to Europe since 2000, and many alumni consider it one of the highlights of their years at Shorecrest. This opportunity is being offered to present eighth graders as they will have one year of high school under their belts before the trip.

The private tour is being organized by EF in Cambridge, MA. Itinerary highlights include: Rome, Florence, Meteora, Delphi, Athens and a three day cruise to Santorini, Mykonos, Patmos and Kusadasi (Ephesus) in Turkey.

"I am also in the process of adding excursions to Ostia (Rome's ancient port), the Catacombs and Cape Sounian. Parents are welcome to join us for an added supplement," Heller shared.

Travel opens students' minds to memorable learning. While adventuring, students may be exposed to culture, outlooks, terrain, language, activities and natural wonders that are not often available in textbooks.

There are a few spots remaining for this trip, so learn more about this exciting opportunity soon!
