Winning Student French Video

Since 2013, the American Association of Teachers of French has sponsored a student media contest to promote connections to the Francophone world. The theme this year was: Discovering a French speaking country. Over 90 submissions were judged.
Congratulations to Sasha Schratwieser ‘24 and Sophia Smith ‘24 whose video project won 2nd place for secondary schools in the national competition. All students in Mr. Ndiaye’s French 3 class participated in the contest.

"These were some of the best videos we have seen in the 10 years of this contest!" said the Community Manager de l'American Association of Teachers of French.

The students received certificates and a check for $125 which they donated to support needy students in a primary school in Senegal.
