Parents/guardians of current seniors, please join members of the College Counseling team in the Janet Root Theater before Back to School Night on Thursday, September 1 from 6-7pm for an important college meeting. (Immediately preceding Upper School Back to School Night.)
Important information will be covered regarding the college application process and a general schedule of events for the remainder of the year. This is a parent-only meeting; students do not need to attend.
SSAR (Self-Reported Student Academic Record) Office Hours for twelfth grade students: August 30
For seniors only during Community Time on Tuesday, August 30, in the Charger Commons Seminar Room. The SSAR is the academic record reporting portal shared by many of the colleges to which Shorecrest seniors apply. In short, these colleges do not want a senior's transcript at the time of application, but rather want to review the academic record in the SSAR portal. Then, at the end of the school year, these colleges request official transcripts only for those students who will matriculate. During Senior Recharge, seniors set up their SSAR accounts and began entering their courses and grades; we will continue the data entry process during Office Hours.
