Shorecrest will be closed on Thursday, November 10 due to the threat of flooding, power outages, and unsafe travel conditions for faculty, staff and families. This decision was made in an abundance of caution due to Tropical Storm Nicole. Parents will receive this communication within the next hour.
The "Matilda Jr." performance planned for Thursday evening at 7pm will continue as planned. All other campus events scheduled for Thursday are canceled. Friday morning's International Connection Breakfast will be rescheduled.
Shorecrest will resume the regular school schedule on Friday, November 11. We will communicate any future updates via the following channels:
- Posted on www.shorecrest.org
- Text message and email to all current families, faculty and staff
Shorecrest will utilize the planned Hurricane Day that was scheduled for Monday, April 24 as an asynchronous online learning day in order to maintain the required number of school days for the 2022-2023 academic year. Additional details regarding this learning day will be shared in a future communication.
