Shorecrest's annnual Celebrate the Arts Week culminated this year with the spring musical production of “Mamma Mia!” in Shorecrest's Janet Root Theatre on April 13-15. Michael McCarthy, Shorecrest Upper School Musical Theatre Teacher, directed the cast of students in grades 8-12. Choreography by Maddie Willet, Brad Miller was Technical Director.

The timeless hit songs of wildly popular ‘70s Swedish pop group ABBA tell the story of a young woman's search for her birth father on the eve of her wedding. Three men from her mother's past return to the sunny Greek island they last visited 20 years ago. This enchanting and funny tale of love, laughter and friendship is a trip down the aisle you'll never forget! For nearly 25 years, people all around the world have fallen in love with the characters, story, and music that make the jukebox musical "Mamma Mia!" the ultimate feel-good show.
